Twelve months of war have had a devastating impact on the health and lives of Ukraine’s people, including children. ‘Impact Ukraine’ continues to support local charities and volunteer groups focused on helping the civilian population.
Most recently, we partnered with a charitable organization in Kiev which provides free sports training to kids who have been evacuated from conflict-affected areas such as Mariupol. Our local partner brings these kids together and provides free lessons in a sports hall equipped for table tennis and other sports. ‘Impact Ukraine’ supported the project financially, so that kids can continue to play, learn and socialise in a safe, well-lit and heated place.
